My teaching philosophy is built on the belief that while classical music requires discipline, the process should always be inspiring. I have experience in primary and high school music programs as well as private students, and I’ve worked with students at every stage of their musical life. Whether you are a complete beginner picking up the clarinet for the first time or an advanced player preparing for a conservatory audition, I tailor my approach to your unique goals.

G’day! I’m a passionate clarinettist and teacher, currently based between Australia and Sweden. I’m currently completing a Master’s degree in orchestral performance at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, after completing my Bachelors degree at the University of Melbourne.I’m lucky enough to have had the chance to perform with many professional orchestras as a freelance musician, including the Sydney Symphony, Swedish Radio, Melbourne Symphony, Opera Australia, and the West Australian Symphony Orchestra, amongst others. I was also grateful to be a fellow with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra in 2023. I absolutely love orchestral playing, but chamber music and collaborative projects are also a big part of what keeps music exciting for me.Teaching is something I care deeply about. I’ve taught clarinet at Eltham High School and Rosanna Golf Links Primary School, as well as privately, and I really enjoy helping students build confidence, strong fundamentals, and a genuine love for music. My lessons are supportive, practical, and tailored to each student — whether they’re aiming for auditions or just playing because they enjoy it.Outside of music, I spend a lot of time hiking, reading, and trying to learn Swedish (min svenska är inte bra).
